From version 1.4.2, Genea stores its data in the application data directory. Its exact location varies between different versions of Windows, but you can move to the directory by typing

cd %APPDATA%\Genea

at the command prompt.

The directory contains the following files and directories

• Backups - the directory in which backups are stored by default
• genea.conf - the settings file
• genea.fdb - the database in which all your data is stored
• genea.log.x - the log files
