Edit a Family Tree

Once the family tree is displayed on you screen, you can edit it interactively. You can click on an arbitrary person to edit: click and drag the box to move it, double click to edit the person's data. Right click and you'll get a list of choices to alter the relations of the person:

• Edit Personal Data: change the person's name, age, etc.
• Remove from Family Tree: remove the person from the family tree
• Edit relations
  • Add Child: adds a child of the person
  • Change Father: select the father of the person
  • Change Mother: select the mother of the person
  • Add Partner: adds a partner of the person
• Trace Family Tree
  • Parents: traces the family tree, starting at the person's parents
  • Children: traces the family tree, starting at the person's children
  • Spouses: traces the family tree, starting at the person's spouses
